- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Location: Burlington, MA 01805 (Boston-area, Middlesex County)
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) — Travel Nurse / Critical Care Nurse
- Setting: ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks (Start: 4/27/2026, End: 6/20/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
- Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Current Massachusetts RN license required (compact licenses may be considered per state rules)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EPIC experience required (electronic medical record / clinical documentation)
- 2–5 years of ICU / critical care nursing experience required
- Trauma Level I facility experience preferred; Trauma Level II considered
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must pass Telemetry (Tele) competency test on first day (pass/fail)
- Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months to be considered
- Facility is not accepting local candidates for this travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the ICU, applying critical care nursing best practices
- Monitor hemodynamics and manage ventilators, drips, and complex critical care equipment as indicated
- Float as needed between ICU and PCU units to support patient care needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, PCU staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation, medication administration, and patient management
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies
- Participate in patient assessments, individualized care planning, and family education
- Work scheduled 12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend as required
