• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,390 - $2,510
• Location: Brighton, Massachusetts (02135) — Boston area nursing job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights, every other weekend & holiday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site Nursing Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Current nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
• 5+ years of Staff Nurse experience with Charge Nurse responsibilities
• Proven nursing leadership and supervisory experience
• Valid Massachusetts RN license (MA RN)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ICU clinical experience required (critical care or step-down experience preferred)
• Experience with bed flow, transfer line coordination, and patient throughput
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and ability to oversee care across the lifespan (infancy to geriatrics)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise patient care across multiple nursing units during evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Provide clinical direction, mentorship, and role modeling for nursing staff; support charge nurses and bedside RNs
• Evaluate nursing care delivery to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient patient outcomes and regulatory compliance
• Make staffing decisions, manage human resources on-shift, and escalate issues to leadership as needed
• Act as the on-site hospital representative to coordinate operational and administrative activities during assigned shifts
• Plan and direct Nursing Division activities to meet policy, safety standards, and divisional goals
• Maintain effective interdisciplinary communication and cooperation with physicians, ancillary departments, and unit leaders
• Promote a positive image of the Nursing Division through professional patient, family, and community interactions
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development and nursing leadership growth
