Job Details - Travel Nursing / Telemetry RN

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,110
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Setting: MedSurg/Tele Float Pool - travel nurse placement in Boston area hospitals
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday required
• Patient Ratio: 5:1
• Open Positions: 2 Telemetry RNs

Job Requirements - Telemetry RN / Cardiology Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
• Strong IMCU or step-down experience; comfortable managing titratable IV drips (nitroglycerin, amiodarone, diltiazem)
• Cardiology experience required; telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills essential
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips and pass on-site exam (84% or better, 2 attempts)
• Experience with Meditech IV documentation required; EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Preferred: 3-5 years previous float experience and adaptability across multiple MedSurg/Tele units

Responsibilities - Telemetry RN / MedSurg Float

• Float between MedSurg/Tele units including ortho, urology, neurology, GYN, cardiology/telemetry, surgery, and cardio-thoracic
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms as a telemetry RN
• Manage titratable IV drips and vasoactive medications safely and according to hospital protocols
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced MedSurg/Tele environment
• Adapt quickly to different units and diverse patient populations as a float pool RN
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech or EPIC and comply with hospital policies
• Participate in patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing evaluations
