Travel OR RN opportunity in Fort Myers, Florida — 13-week perioperative nursing assignment (12-hour days) for experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses with pediatric OR experience and Epic EMR skills. Join a collaborative OR team on the Gulf Coast for a rewarding Florida travel nursing job.
Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700 – $1,790
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse / Perioperative Nurse (Adult & Pediatric)
- Setting: Operating Room – adult and pediatric cases (ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, Neurosurgery)
- Shifts: 12-hour days (Fri 6:30am–7:00pm; Sat & Sun 7:00am–7:30pm)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Call: One backup call per month (details discussed during interview)
- Floating: Required; may float to sister campuses
- EMR: Epic
- Location: Fort Myers, Florida (33908) — Southwest Florida / Gulf Coast travel nursing
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience; pediatric OR experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific licensure required)
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Prior travel nurse experience highly preferred
- Degree accreditation on profile, or 5 years of documented experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (per radius rule)
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to adult and pediatric patients as an OR RN
- Assist and circulate for a variety of surgical specialties (ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, Neurosurgery)
- Document perioperative care accurately in Epic EMR
- Participate in call rotation and float to other units or sister campuses as needed
- Integrate into unit culture and function as core staff during the travel assignment
