Travel OR RN – Savannah, GA: 13-week Operating Room Registered Nurse contract at a Level I trauma center; CNOR preferred. Join a top-performing perioperative team as a Surgical Nurse / Travel Nurse in coastal Georgia.
Job Details – Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) / Travel RN
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Location: Savannah, GA 31404 (Savannah healthcare jobs, Georgia nursing jobs)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
- Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (12-hour days)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Schedule: Night Shift, Block Schedule, No Call, No Weekends
- Setting: 30 Operating Rooms; Region's only Level I Trauma Center and children's hospital (perioperative, trauma, pediatric surgical cases)
Qualifications – OR Nurse / Perioperative RN Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia or compact state) – Registered Nurse required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Level II or Level I Trauma experience required; ability to manage incoming traumas
- Ability to circulate across all surgical service lines (trauma, pediatric, general, specialty)
- CNOR certification preferred (perioperative nursing)
- Proficiency with Epic documentation system (electronic health record experience)
- Professional appearance: navy scrubs (home laundered)
Responsibilities – Surgical RN / OR Circulator
- Circulate and assist in a wide range of surgical service lines, including high-acuity trauma and pediatric cases
- Collaborate closely with OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, and Anesthesia Techs to ensure seamless perioperative care
- Maintain patient safety and a 1:1 patient ratio in the operating room
- Operate and utilize various OR equipment and perioperative technology
- Document all perioperative care accurately and timely using Epic
- Support a family-like team environment focused on quality, teamwork, and patient-centered care
