Travel Telemetry RN (Night): 13-week travel nursing contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Lubbock, TX - competitive pay and a supportive team.

Provide telemetry and cardiac monitoring care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Short-Term Acute Care hospital and Level II Trauma Center. Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,740 – $1,840
- Location: Lubbock, TX 79410 — Telemetry travel nursing job in West Texas
- Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), 3 shifts per week — Telemetry RN night shift
- Expected Patient Ratio: 1:4–5
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- Floating: May float between units and sister facilities as needed
- Free Parking: Available in unrestricted employee/visitor lots
Telemetry RN Qualifications & Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience or telemetry travel nurse experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record/charting system
- Preferred: Level II Trauma Center experience
- Ability to provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must be willing to float as needed and work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Solid navy blue scrubs required
Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, telemetry strips, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (no titration required)
- Perform assessments, develop evidence-based care plans, and document in Epic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- Care for patients with CHF, AMS, NSTEMI, COPD, sepsis, pneumonia, and post-cardiac procedures
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and telemetry unit protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
- Float to other units or facilities as required during your travel nurse assignment
