Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 – $2,580
• Location: Fort Myers, FL (33908) — Fort Myers nursing jobs / Florida travel nurse
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour Day shifts, 4 days per week (call required)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN or cardiac OR experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Florida or compact license preferred
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Must have both scrub and circulate experience in cardiovascular surgery
• Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) or cardiac surgery
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Ability to float to other sister campuses as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Perform scrub and circulate duties during cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Support surgical team during complex CVOR cases, including instrument handling and maintaining sterile field
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and techs) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR and complete perioperative charting
• Participate in call rotation as required and provide reliable coverage for OR schedules
• Float to other units and sister campuses as needed and integrate seamlessly as core staff
• Adhere to CVOR protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives
