Travel Infusion RN – Oncology | Boston, MA (13-week contract) — ONS-certified RNs with oncology infusion and IV therapy experience needed. Infusion RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Yawkey Infusion Unit)
• Unit: Yawkey Infusion Unit (60 bed/chair)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 6, 2026 – September 4, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), including every other weekend and holiday
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel Infusion RN)
• Number of Positions: 3

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• 2+ years of oncology infusion experience in an academic medical center (hematology-oncology preferred)
• 1+ year outpatient infusion experience required
• 1+ year travel nurse experience required
• Strong IV therapy, central line and patient assessment skills
• Experience with complex GI regimens and chemotherapy/biologic infusion protocols
• ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification required
• Active RN license in Massachusetts (MA) required

Infusion RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality infusion therapy and safe chemotherapy/biologic administration to hematology-oncology patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to treatments and manage infusion-related reactions
• Administer complex GI regimens and other infusion therapies per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (oncology, pharmacy, infusion nursing) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on infusion procedures, side-effect management, and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and supportive environment in a busy outpatient infusion unit
