Assignment Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600 – $2,790 (competitive travel pay)
• Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Cath/EP Lab (Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Invasive Lab)
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (Rochester, NY)
• Shift: 10-hour days; primarily day shifts with some late evenings and on-call as needed; 4 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel / Contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Tech or Cardiovascular Technologist experience (cardiac/cath lab)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT certification (ARRT preferred)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination (fully completed series)
• Critical care or cardiac critical care experience required
• Mechanical circulatory support experience (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo)
• Structural heart experience (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO/ASD/VSD closures, Valvuloplasty)
• Must meet NY State requirements for Radiologic Technologist or be eligible for Public Health Law 2824 grandfathering

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and sterile fields for cardiac and vascular procedures in the cath/EP lab
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot imaging and hemodynamic equipment; maintain sterile instruments and supplies
• Perform multiple roles within the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and monitor/documenter
• Assist with invasive cardiac procedures: Right/Left heart hemodynamics, PCI, CTO, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, RotoPro, LVAD support, AngioVac, FlowTriever
• Support structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and other transcatheter interventions
• Provide monitoring and support for mechanical circulatory support devices during procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cath lab activations as needed
• Demonstrate strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills in a high-acuity cardiac environment
