Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technician (also called CV Tech, Cardiac Tech, or Cardiovascular Technologist) to assist with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a busy hospital environment. This Camden, NJ hospital job is ideal for clinicians who prioritize patient safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced cardiology unit.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CV Tech experience in a hospital or cardiac cath lab setting
• Relevant certifications as required by hospital standards; BLS (AHA) required
• Additional credentials preferred: Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or registry certifications (if applicable)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, three times per week (36 hours/week)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
• Commitment to safety, sterile technique, and quality documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures (Cath Lab support)
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, including ECG/telemetry monitoring during procedures
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain cardiovascular equipment and instruments
• Ensure proper sterile technique and maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Accurately document patient information, procedure details, and equipment checks in the medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—physicians, RNs, and allied health professionals—to deliver high-quality cardiac care
