Job Details
- Job Title: CT Technologist / CT Tech (Travel Contract)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 – $2,120
- Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 (Atlanta-area, Gwinnett County)
- Setting: Hospital – Level 2 Trauma Center (Emergency, Inpatient, Outpatient)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
- Shift: 10-hour nights, Monday–Thursday (7:30pm–6:00am)
- Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel Contract – Travel CT technologist, contract imaging job
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or trauma setting (computed tomography / CT imaging)
- Active ARRT (CT) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Proficiency with Siemens CT scanners (Siemens Somatom experience preferred)
- Ability to perform trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams for all patient types: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
- No local candidates within 50 miles (open to travel CT technologists)
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and deliver optimal patient care
- Perform emergency/trauma, stroke, interventional/procedural, and routine CT exams for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Prioritize timely imaging in a fast-paced Level 2 trauma center and collaborate with ED, radiology, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure patient safety, screening, and proper positioning; follow contrast protocols and radiation safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records, exam documentation, and QA logs in accordance with hospital policies
- Adapt to varied clinical scenarios and effectively communicate findings to radiologists and clinical staff
