Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift in Louisville, KY 40217: Travel nursing job for experienced telemetry RNs with Epic and acute inpatient telemetry experience. 13-week travel contract starting May 3, 2026.

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45pm – 7:15am), every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 – $2,030 (competitive travel nurse pay)

Qualifications — Telemetry RN / Travel Nurse

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky at time of submission
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience; telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience preferred
Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak) for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration

Telemetry Nursing Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments based on patient condition and telemetry findings
Monitor cardiac telemetry, recognize arrhythmias, and intervene according to unit protocols
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Administer medications, IV therapies, and post-procedure care per hospital policies
Document patient status and responses in Epic EMR accurately and timely
Provide patient and family education tailored to discharge planning and ongoing cardiac care
Delegate tasks and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff; serve as a preceptor when applicable
Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and Practice Governance to maintain regulatory compliance
