Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 - $2,380
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Location: Sterling, VA 20166 (Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. area)
• Setting: Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days (08:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Radiology Tech / X-ray Tech)
• Certification as a Special Procedures Technologist required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Experience in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures preferred
• Familiarity with INNOVA imaging systems, assist platforms, MacLab, and Meditech documentation
• Knowledge of fluoroscopy, radiation safety, sterile technique, and vascular imaging workflows
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, RNs, and cath lab staff in a fast-paced environment
• Hospital-issued scrubs required; must adhere to hospital dress code and policies

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Scrub for cardiac cath and vascular interventional cases as required
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment (INNOVA) and assist with vascular imaging workflows
• Document procedures accurately and timely using Meditech and MacLab systems
• Ensure patient comfort, sterility, and adherence to infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with physicians, RNs, and cath lab team to support seamless patient care
