- Location: Baltimore, MD 21201 (Downtown Baltimore / Inner Harbor)
- Position: Travel CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist (Night Shift)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: April 27, 2026
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (Wed, Fri, Sat; 18:30 – 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,270 – $2,440
- Setting: Hospital (Level I/II Trauma center experience preferred)
- Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
- Equipment: Philips 7500, Philips Brilliance 64, Siemens Force
- Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT Tech experience in a hospital setting (preferred trauma experience)
- Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
- Active Maryland license or Compact State Radiologic Technologist License
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Epic experience preferred for CT documentation/charting
- Ability to float within the specialty and to sister facilities as needed
- Comfortable performing CT imaging across the lifespan (neonates, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics)
- 2 professional references required (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN acceptable)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel CT policy)
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics
- Operate advanced CT scanners (Philips, Siemens) and optimize protocols for trauma, neuro, chest, abdomen, vascular, MSK, and pediatric studies
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely and according to facility policies
- Utilize 3D rendering (MIP, SSD, Volume Rendering) and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) for diagnostic quality images
- Follow radiation safety protocols, infection control, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Document procedures, images, and patient information accurately in Epic
- Support trauma activations and emergency CT protocols in a Level I/II trauma environment as needed
- Float to other units and sister facilities within scope and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
