  • Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:00)

  • Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
  • Daily Census: 6–12 procedures
  • Travelers and Locals: Both accepted

Job Requirements (Radiology / EP Technologist)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology or Radiology Tech roles — EP Lab technologist or cath lab experience required
  • Valid Radiology or Cardiology certification (state-recognized)
  • Active Virginia license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • BSN preferred (if applicable to role)
  • Ability to float within scope if needed
  • 2 professional references required
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • Compliance with facility policies (natural nail policy, fingerprinting for ER/Psych candidates)

Key Responsibilities (Electrophysiology / Cath Lab)

  • Assist with electrophysiology and cardiac procedures including device implants, complex ablations, LAAO, cardioversions, tilt table testing, and TEE procedures
  • Circulate and scrub cases as needed; administer and monitor procedural sedation per policy
  • Operate and support specialized EP equipment: Biosense Webster Carto, GE CardioLab, Baylis RF, Medtronic cryotherapy, Siemens and Sonosite ultrasound systems
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, anesthesia, and rapid response for optimal patient care
  • Provide care for complex cardiac patients in a busy referral center/cath lab environment
  • Complete orientation modules and competency validation during the first week
  • Maintain accurate EP documentation and uphold patient safety and infection control standards
