Job Requirements (ER RN / Travel RN)

- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend; adaptability to fast-paced ED workflow
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care as an Emergency Department nurse (ER RN)
- Assess, triage, and manage acute, emergent, and critical patients in a Level 1 trauma setting
- Participate in trauma activations and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per hospital protocols
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient status in the electronic medical record
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control procedures
Preferred Skills & Clinical Competencies
- Strong triage, critical thinking, and trauma assessment skills
- Experience with high-acuity ED equipment and procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary emergency care teams
- Ability to stay calm and decisive during trauma activations and high-volume periods
