CT Technologist – Alexandria, VA (22304) | 13-week travel contract | Active VA license & ARRT (CT) required. Join our hospital radiology team as a travel CT Technologist serving inpatient and emergency room patients in Alexandria, VA (near Washington, D.C.). This travel CT tech position (Virginia CT jobs) offers hands-on experience with GE Revolution Apex and Siemens Definition AS scanners, Epic EMR, and a fast-paced hospital imaging environment.

• Weekly Estimated Pay (CT Technologist): $2,130 - $2,290
• Location: Alexandria, VA (22304) — Virginia CT jobs, easy access to Washington, D.C.
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Role: Travel CT Technologist / CT Tech (Hospital – Inpatient & Emergency Room)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 1 week
• Scrubs: Black
• EMR: Epic (experience with Epic preferred)
• Holiday Coverage: 1 major and 1 minor holiday worked into schedule
• Floating: Possible float to nearby hospital sites as needed

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Virginia CT Technologist license required at time of application (VA license)
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required; 2 years preferred (hospital CT, inpatient & ER experience highly valued)
• Strong IV skills preferred — experience with contrast administration and patient IV access
• Experience operating GE Revolution Apex and/or Siemens Definition AS CT scanners preferred
• Comfortable working every weekend (weekend CT tech schedule)
• Reliable travel CT technologist availability for a 13-week assignment

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging studies for inpatient and emergency room patients, including contrast-enhanced CT exams
• Operate and optimize GE Revolution Apex and Siemens Definition AS CT equipment for diagnostic quality imaging
• Provide high-quality patient care, patient education, and safe handling during CT procedures
• Document imaging procedures, findings, and patient information accurately in Epic EMR
• Maintain proficiency in CT protocols, radiation safety, and hospital radiology best practices
• Float to nearby hospital sites as needed and participate in unit orientation and training
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and emergency department workflows
