Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio or valid nursing compact license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN (Med/Surg RN) experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to complete all onboarding health and professional requirements (immunizations, background check, competency exams)
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills for hospital nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med/Surg unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and families to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and post-discharge care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff
