Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,420
• Location: Baltimore, MD 21218 (Baltimore healthcare jobs / Maryland travel allied health)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 – 17:00)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Scrubs Provided

Required Qualifications / Certifications

• Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a CT Technologist / Rad Tech
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required (travel CT tech jobs preferred)
• RCIS or ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification required
• Valid Maryland state license required if ARRT certified
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Preferred: experience with Cerner electronic charting system
• Two supervisor references required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiac imaging and support procedures including right & left heart catheterization, PCI (stent placement), PTCA, thrombectomy, rotablator, and balloon angioplasty
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field; assist physicians during interventional procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging equipment (preferred familiarity with Philips, Mac Lab, ACIST)
• Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and provide acute care as needed in collaboration with nursing and rapid response teams
• Participate in call rotation: 1–2 weeknight call shifts (Mon–Fri) and 3–24 hour weekend call shifts per month
• Assist with advanced device procedures such as Watchman, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR (preferred)
• Complete facility and unit-specific orientation modules within one week of contract start
