- Job Title: CT Technologist / CT Tech / Computed Tomography Technologist
- Location: Lexington, KY 40503 (Hospital setting - inpatient & outpatient)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel contract)
- Shift: Night, 3x12 (19:00 - 07:30) — night shift CT technologist role
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 – $2,080
- Start Date: May 4, 2026

Qualifications (CT Technologist Requirements)
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Experience with major CT vendors preferred: GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record/charting system
- Comfortable providing care across the lifespan (neonate to older adult)
- Eligible for Kentucky state licensure or compact license
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Two professional references required
Key Responsibilities – CT Technologist Duties
- Perform a full range of CT examinations including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and vascular studies
- Prepare and administer iodinated contrast media; initiate and manage IV access as indicated
- Use multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and 3D rendering techniques for clinical imaging (preferred)
- Assist interventional teams with CT-guided aspirations, biopsies, drainages, and brain perfusion studies (preferred)
- Operate PACS and maintain accurate computerized documentation following hospital protocols
- Adhere to radiation safety best practices and ALARA principles for patient and staff protection
- Float between units as needed within the hospital and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
