Job Details — York, Maine (Travel Nurse)

Location: York, Maine (03909) — coastal living and Maine healthcare opportunities
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
Start Date: May 4, 2026
End Date: August 3, 2026
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 x 12-hour shifts per week)
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am (occasional variable shift: 1:00 pm – 1:30 am based on ED census)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
No On-Call Required

Job Requirements — Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine
BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department / ER nursing experience
Previous charge nurse and preceptor experience required
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills for emergency nursing

Responsibilities — ER Registered Nurse Duties

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department
Function as charge nurse as needed and mentor new staff as a preceptor
Respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies and changing patient conditions
Perform triage, assessments, interventions, and monitor critical patients per ED protocols
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient emergency department work environment
