Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – July 1, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 – $2,580
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Setting: Operating Room (OR) – perioperative/surgical services
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Assignment
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Schedule Perk: No weekends or holidays required

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required (experience documenting perioperative care)
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff
• Navy blue scrubs required for assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Operating Room to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes
• Assist surgical teams with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative responsibilities as a scrub or circulating OR nurse
• Monitor patient status, record assessments, and document care accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control and perioperative safety protocols
• Demonstrate flexibility across surgical specialties, including thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute care, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR
