Job Details

• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) / Circulating Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Location: Tucson, AZ 85741 (Tucson nursing jobs, Arizona travel nursing)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10 Hour Days (06:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with On Call responsibilities
• Hours per Week: 40
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• Scrub Color: Provided
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner (EMR experience preferred)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent circulating experience in the Operating Room
• Extensive neurosurgery / neuro OR experience required (Neuro OR nurse)
• Experience with robotics/robotic-assisted surgery, general surgery, GYN, and urology preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred; strong perioperative documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Operating Room for neurosurgery and other surgical procedures as a Travel OR RN
• Serve as a patient advocate and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique, infection control, and patient safety protocols
• Prepare the OR for procedures, including equipment, instrumentation, and supplies (robotics setup experience a plus)
• Monitor patient status, anticipate intraoperative needs, and respond to changes during surgery
• Perform accurate perioperative documentation in Cerner and participate in on-call rotation as required
