• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (North Shore, coastal Massachusetts; near Boston)
• Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse / Telemetry RN – Travel Nursing Job
• Unit: Phippen 6/7 – 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 17, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse assignment
• Charting System: EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: Nights: 1:5 or 1:6

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (telemetry, cardiac monitoring)
• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license (compact license holders: verify MA eligibility)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Strong neuro assessment skills and demonstrated telemetry competency (able to read and interpret telemetry strips and identify arrhythmias)
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical records preferred
• Ability to float to similar med/surg, ortho, or neuro units as needed
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings, background checks, and travel nurse documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to orthopedic, neuro, and medical telemetry patients in a med/surg setting
• Perform continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and promptly identify arrhythmias and acute changes in patient condition
• Conduct comprehensive neuro and clinical assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
• Document patient care accurately and timely in EPIC electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, PT/OT, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support unit flow by floating to applicable units and assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered environment for patients, families, and staff
