Job Details – CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,520 - $1,640
• Location: Plantation, FL 33324 (South Florida CT jobs)
• Setting: Hospital – Radiology Department (CT / Imaging)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Dress Code: Royal blue or white scrubs

Minimum Qualifications – CT Tech / Radiology Technologist

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
• ARRT certification required (Registered Technologist – Radiography/CT preferred)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital radiology department
• Strong critical thinking skills, flexibility, and teamwork
• Preferred: ACLS, RT(T), ASRT, or FASRT certifications (not required)

Responsibilities – CT Imaging & Patient Care

• Operate GE Discovery 450 and 1.5 CT scanners to perform high-quality CT scans, body imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Produce accurate images of bones, organs, and tissues for physician interpretation
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio when required to ensure optimal patient care and safety
• Document procedures, patient history, and imaging results in Meditech EMR and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and hospital staff to coordinate patient imaging
• Demonstrate adaptability by working weekends, nights, or schedule variations as needed for travel radiology assignments
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, patient privacy (HIPAA), and dress code standards
