• Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (Charleston, South Carolina – Charleston CT jobs)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/4/2026 – End: 8/3/2026)
• Role: Travel CT Technologist / CT Tech in a Teaching Hospital, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (Sunday – Tuesday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM); includes holiday and on-call rotation
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 – $2,080
• Hours per Week: 36
• Floating: May float to sister facilities as needed
• Orientation: 40 hours (includes modules)
• Parking: Convenient parking available for a one-time fee

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
• ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification (Computed Tomography technologist credential)
• SCRQSA (R)(CT) license (South Carolina) — must have license in hand at start
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment
• Epic charting experience required
• Agency-provided radiation badge required
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans, including advanced cardiac and trauma imaging, as a CT Technologist in a busy hospital setting
• Manage a high-volume caseload (approximately 6 exams per hour; ~60 exams per day) while maintaining image quality and throughput
• Prepare and administer contrast media according to facility protocols and patient screening
• Operate Siemens CT systems and document imaging workflows in Epic
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care
• Participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled
• Float to sister facilities and rotate through all campus buildings as needed
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Accurately document procedures, patient information, and image details in Epic
• Support emergency response teams during hurricane season if required
