Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired)
• Experience in LTAC, long-term acute care, or similar acute care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care following established LTAC care plans
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and coordinated discharge planning
• Identify teaching needs and set goals for patients and families to support recovery
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Assume charge responsibilities as requested and communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary care team
• Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards
• Support unit efficiency, teamwork, and ongoing professional development
