- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770 - $1,870
- Location: Savannah, GA 31405 — Long-term Acute Care (LTAC) travel nurse position (Savannah, Georgia nursing jobs)

- Shift: 12-hour days (3 shifts per week)
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired)
- Experience in LTAC, long-term acute care, or similar acute care settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care following established LTAC care plans
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and coordinated discharge planning
- Identify teaching needs and set goals for patients and families to support recovery
- Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Assume charge responsibilities as requested and communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards
- Support unit efficiency, teamwork, and ongoing professional development
