• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540

• Role: Travel Registered Nurse (Telemetry) / Tele RN / Telemetry Nurse
• Setting: 22-bed Telemetry Unit (3 West, Doctors Regional Medical Center)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:00), rotating weekends
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute med/surg experience within the last year (telemetry experience preferred)
• Ability to safely manage 4–6 patients on a telemetry unit
• Clinical skills: IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration
• Experience with Meditech EHR documentation
• Friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused attitude
• Scrubs required
• Preferred: 2+ years of orthopedic (ortho) nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to med/surg and ortho patients on a telemetry unit
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to cardiac/respiratory changes per unit protocol
• Deliver standard nursing procedures including IV and catheter insertions, central line maintenance, and safe medication administration
• Document patient care, assessments, and progress accurately in Meditech EHR
• Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Float to med/surg units as needed and participate in rotating weekend coverage
