Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
• Cardiac Cath Lab Tech certification required (e.g., RCIS or equivalent certifications preferred)
• Ability to work full-time, 8-hour day shifts in a hospital cardiac cath lab
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary cardiac teams
• Current BLS certification from AHA preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist interventional cardiologists and physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures and diagnostic/interventional cases
• Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and supplies to ensure procedural readiness
• Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures; support patient safety and infection control standards
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of procedures, implants, and patient care in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiovascular team to deliver high-quality patient care in the cardiac cath lab
