Who We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA RN license) — travel nurse applicants welcome
• Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in a Progressive Care Unit, Step-Down unit, or equivalent
• BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications a plus
• Strong clinical skills and comfort with thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute care, pediatric PACU or pediatric OR considered a plus
• Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced PCU environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU RN responsibilities)
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, perform patient monitoring, and report clinical changes
• Administer medications safely and manage infusion therapy as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education, support discharge planning, and document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Participate in unit safety and quality improvement activities to support positive patient outcomes
