Job Details

• Location: Asheville, NC 28801 — Asheville CT Tech, North Carolina imaging jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel CT Tech / Travel CT Technologist
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks (4/27/2026 – 10/26/2026)
• Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM, 8 Hour Days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,150 – $2,310
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
• Setting: Hospital, Multi-Modality Imaging Unit (CT and MRI)

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of clinical experience as a CT Technologist / CT Tech (Computed Tomography)
• Current MRI registration (MRI Technologist credentials)
• Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred (GE Healthcare CT/MRI)
• Breast MRI experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR is preferred
• Ability to work rotating weekends
• Must wear black scrubs as per department dress code

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT and MRI procedures, including contrast and non-contrast studies (Computed Tomography and MRI exams)
• Operate GE imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Provide high-quality patient care and clear communication with patients and families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary radiology team to support diagnostic imaging workflows
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR
• Float to other imaging areas as needed within the hospital imaging department
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
