Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of in-hospital Endoscopy RN experience (GI nurse / procedural RN)
- Active RN license (state-required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Scheduling flexibility; block scheduling not routinely accommodated
- Preferred: Pulmonary procedural experience
- Experience with Olympus scopes & processors, ION, Olympus US machine, and ERBE
- Familiar with Cerner and Provation EMR systems
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across Pre-Op, Procedure, and PACU areas in the Endoscopy unit
- Assist with and support procedures including EBUS, Bronchoscopy, ION, EGD, Colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP
- Float to Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-Op, or OR as needed (if prior experience)
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and rigorous clinical standards during all procedures
- Demonstrate adaptability and strong teamwork in a fast-paced endoscopy environment
Technical & System Skills (Endoscopy)
- Proficiency with endoscopy equipment: Olympus systems, ION platform, ERBE electrosurgical units
- Familiarity with Cerner and Provation documentation and workflow for GI procedures
- Knowledge of peri-procedural monitoring, sedation protocols, and PACU recovery
