• Shift: 12 Hour Days (06:45 – 19:15)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent trauma or medical telemetry nursing experience
• CMSRN certification encouraged
• Leadership or Charge Nurse experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Ability to float to Med-Surg units as needed (3W, 5W, K8)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality trauma care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Monitor patients using medical remote telemetry and Cerner Patient Observation systems
• Prepare and transport patients for procedures including Endoscopy, IR, and OR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RNs, CNAs, HUCs, and sitters to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR and workstation-on-wheels (WOW)
• Adhere to unit policies, professional standards, and dress code (Navy Blue or White scrubs)
• Participate in scheduled weekend coverage (6 per 6-week schedule)
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient outcomes and continuous improvement
