Radiology Technologist (ARRT) – Diagnostic Radiology in Atlanta, GA 30342. 13-week travel assignment for an ARRT-certified Rad Tech with BLS. Join a busy, state-of-the-art medical imaging team providing OR, fluoroscopy, portable, ED, and general x-ray services in a collaborative hospital setting.
Travel Radiology Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 (local travel radiology job / Atlanta radiology jobs)
- Setting: Diagnostic Radiology — OR, Fluoro, Portables, ED, and General X-ray
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts (7:00am – 5:30pm; Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,530 – $1,650
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- End Date: August 1, 2026
- Employment Type: Travel (travel radiology technologist, travel rad tech)
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a busy hospital or clinical setting (diagnostic radiology / medical imaging)
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Proficiency in OR imaging, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, ED imaging, and general x-ray procedures
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
- Travel requirement: candidates must reside at least 50 miles outside of Atlanta, GA
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic radiology and medical imaging procedures (OR, fluoro, portable, ED, general x-ray)
- Assist with complex OR and fluoroscopy cases as needed to support surgical and interventional teams
- Ensure high-quality imaging, radiation safety, and patient safety at all times
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver excellent patient care
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation following hospital and regulatory policies
- Adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently
