What You Bring: OR RN Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Demonstrated skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular surgeries
• Broad surgical knowledge across general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma service lines
• Ability to work a variable schedule and participate in call rotation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and positive surgical outcomes
• Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures, including joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver high-quality surgical nursing care
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to perioperative safety standards and infection control practices
• Document patient care and perioperative interventions using the Cerner electronic health record
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures and float to other departments as needed
