• End Date: July 13, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8 Hour Days)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 – $1,460

Job Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification or state license (PTA)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an inpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation setting
• Experience with therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and mobility interventions
• Ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary rehab teams
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred (AHA BLS preferred)
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced inpatient rehab environment and follow facility protocols

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery
• Provide therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, gait training, and transfer practice to improve patient mobility and independence
• Monitor and document patient progress, outcomes, and response to therapy in the electronic medical record
• Communicate regularly with the rehab team, nursing staff, patients, and families to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, safety, and strategies to support continued recovery
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant patient care environment following facility and state guidelines
