• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,740 – $1,870
• Location: Hospital Radiology Unit, Camden, AR 71701

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT technologist experience in a hospital setting; travel CT technologist experience a plus
• Valid ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred (Computed Tomography Technologist credentials)
• Active BLS certification
• Eligible for Arkansas state license
• Experience operating GE CT equipment and PACS required
• Familiarity with MedHost charting system preferred
• Experience in Level I or II trauma centers preferred; community hospital experience preferred

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for a diverse patient population (neonates, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics)
• Prepare and administer contrast media per departmental protocols and safety guidelines
• Operate GE CT scanners and utilize PACS for image acquisition, processing, and archiving
• Perform advanced imaging techniques, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and vascular studies
• Support trauma and emergency department imaging needs in a fast-paced hospital radiology environment
• Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA), infection control procedures, and appropriate PPE/isolation precautions
• Document procedures accurately in MedHost and HMS/PACS systems
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary radiology team to ensure optimal patient care and efficient workflow
• Provide occasional weekend coverage as needed to support staffing and vacation coverage
