Top Qualifications (must-haves)

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
• Active Pennsylvania (PA) or Multi-State Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 2 years in ICU or a relevant critical care specialty
• Critical care training or certifications encouraged (e.g., CCRN, ACLS preferred)

Responsibilities — ICU / Critical Care Nursing

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to IMCU patients, including Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU populations
• Float within the Intermediate Care Unit and support the float pool as needed for staffing and patient acuity
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor and manage complex medical conditions such as withdrawal syndromes, hypertensive crises, and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) with appropriate clinical protocols and physician direction
• Provide oversight and direction to nursing support staff consistent with nursing practice standards and hospital policy
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, promote patient safety, and support quality improvement initiatives in the unit
