Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Lawton, OK (13-week assignment)

Travel OR RN – Lawton, OK (73505). Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with a current Oklahoma RN license and at least 1 year of perioperative/surgical experience for a 13-week travel nursing assignment. Monday–Friday, no on-call; 8-hour day shifts.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Location: Lawton, Oklahoma (73505) — Lawton, OK travel nursing
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/7/2026 – End: 8/6/2026)
• Shift: 8-Hour Days, 6:30am – 3:00pm, Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call: None
• Number of Positions: 2

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license — required for Lawton, OK
• At least 1 year of Operating Room (OR) / perioperative or surgical nursing experience
• BSN preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative standards
• Commitment to teamwork and reliable task completion

Responsibilities (Operating Room / Perioperative Nurse)

• Deliver safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care in the operating room and perioperative services
• Act as a patient advocate and meet surgical nursing standards of practice
• Set priorities, organize workload, and adapt to changes in surgical assignments
• Develop and implement total nursing care plans for surgical patients
• Collaborate with the perioperative team (RNs, LPNs, surgical techs, physicians, and ancillary disciplines)
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments for all patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric
• Assess and manage pain using appropriate perioperative techniques
• Maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting and support sterile processing, instrument handling, and surgical counts as needed
