CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,520 – $1,640
• Location: New Port Richey, FL (Zip: 34655) — Florida CT tech job / Tampa Bay area
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 14, 2026 – July 14, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15) — Night shift CT technologist
• Hours per Week: 36

• Setting: Hospital Radiology Department (diagnostic imaging / computed tomography)

CT Tech Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Valid CT Tech certification (ARRT(CT) or state equivalent preferred/required)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend/holiday as scheduled
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills for a hospital radiology team
• Compliance with facility scrub color policy (Radiology: Black)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic imaging in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
• Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and radiation safety practices during procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and hospital staff to deliver excellent patient care
• Operate and maintain CT equipment and report any maintenance or quality issues
• Document procedures, patient information, and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as part of the hospital radiology team
