Job Details

  • Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27103 (Winston-Salem healthcare, North Carolina radiology jobs)
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 20, 2026 – August 19, 2026)
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,580 – $2,770
  • Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, Monday–Friday)
  • On-Call: Rotating primary and backup call (including some weekends and evenings/nights)
  • Setting: Inpatient hospital — Interventional Radiology Unit (IR)
  • Scrubs: Provided
  • Floating: May be required to float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including neuro and stroke intervention (IR technologist, neurointervention)
  • Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers) — travel rad tech / travel radiology jobs
  • Active ARRT (R) certification and current BLS required
  • NC license or Compact Radiologic Technologist license (must be in hand by start date)
  • Experience with Siemens and Philips x-ray/angiography equipment
  • Proficiency in IR procedures: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, vascular and neurological studies
  • Neuro and stroke intervention experience in IR is required
  • Ability to rotate on-call shifts (primary and backup)
  • EPIC and McKesson charting experience preferred
  • ARRT Advanced Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including neuro and body interventions, angiography, and vascular procedures
  • Operate Siemens and Philips imaging and angiography systems safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Rotate on-call coverage with team members to ensure 24/7 IR service availability
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC/McKesson or hospital charting systems
  • Participate in hospital orientation and complete required training modules
  • Provide care to adult and geriatric patients, with occasional adolescent cases
  • Demonstrate flexibility with variable days off and willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed
  • Be prepared to float to other units or affiliate hospitals if required
