- Location: Boston, MA 02114 (travel nurse position)
- Setting: Burn ICU – Burn Intensive Care Unit / Critical Care
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (June 7, 2026 – September 5, 2026)
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts; includes weekends and holidays
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130 (competitive travel nurse pay)
- Employment Type: Travel / Contract – Massachusetts travel nursing jobs
Job Requirements – Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-required credentials for travel nurses)
- ICU certification required (critical care certification)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Completion of all required onboarding health and background screenings
Preferred / Helpful Qualifications
- Experience with burn care, wound management, and pain control
- Familiarity with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Current BLS/ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Experience working with multidisciplinary critical care teams and electronic medical records (EMR)
Responsibilities – ICU / Critical Care Nurse Duties
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care nursing to adult patients in a closed Burn ICU setting
- Perform ongoing assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient status and progress using EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs, residents, and attending ICU physicians
- Manage complex surgical, burn, and acutely ill medical patients, including wound care and pain management
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical interventions such as advanced airway and hemodynamic support as needed
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical documentation initiatives
