• Location: Show Low, AZ 85901 (White Mountains) — Arizona travel nursing job
• Setting: Acute Care – Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (24 beds, heavy on telemetry)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 4/27/2026 – End: 7/27/2026)
• Shift: 12?hour nights — Night shift (36 guaranteed hours/week, 3 shifts per week)
• Role: Travel Nurse / Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry

Required Qualifications (Med/Surg Tele RN)

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience with telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring
• Strong neuro and cardiac assessment and intervention skills
• Active RN license (Arizona or compact state) — Arizona nursing jobs welcome
• ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Experience with EMR systems; Sunrise/Allscripts experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities (Telemetry Nurse / Registered Nurse)

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor and manage telemetry for all beds; identify and escalate arrhythmias and acute cardiac events
• Float to other Med/Surg units and ICU for MS overflow patients as needed
• Collaborate with tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, PCTs, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists to support safe patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Allscripts/Sunrise EMR and follow unit protocols
• Adhere to nurse-to-patient ratios (typical 1:6 nights, adjusted by acuity) and participate in unit rounds and quality initiatives
