• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1900 - $2000
• Location: Outpatient Surgery Center, Cumming, GA 30041 (Travel Nursing Position)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday (6:45am – 3:15pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative or surgical nurse experience required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Clinical expertise across a variety of surgical cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, gynecology, and prostate biopsies
• Must be willing to travel (no local candidates within 50 miles) — travel nursing candidates preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the OR Circulator in a busy outpatient surgery center, supporting perioperative workflow
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient care and OR efficiency
• Prepare the operating room for procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and follow infection control protocols
• Monitor patient safety, respond to intraoperative needs, and provide patient advocacy throughout the perioperative process
• Document surgical procedures, perioperative assessments, and patient information accurately and timely
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling complex cases including GYN, plastics, robotic-assisted procedures, and prostate biopsies
