Job Details – Travel Nursing Job (Oncology RN)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270 (Competitive travel nurse pay)
• Position Type: Travel RN – PCU / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT RN), Oncology RN, Hematology Oncology Nurse
• Location: Columbus, Ohio (zip 43210) – Columbus, OH travel nursing job; Ohio nursing jobs
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks (Start: 5/18/2026 – End: 9/7/2026)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift: Primary shift is 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30); 12-hour day/night rotating shifts may be available as an alternative assignment
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: 14 East, West and 15 West – Bone Marrow Transplant / Oncology / Mixed Acuity PCU & MS unit

Job Requirements – PCU / BMT RN (Oncology)

• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient hematology-oncology experience (within the last 3 years)
• Experience with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and blood dyscrasias required
• Chemo certification required (Oncology Nursing Society / ONCC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• EPIC electronic charting experience required
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Valid Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Two professional references (one from manager/director or formal leadership; second may be a Charge RN)

Responsibilities – Progressive Care Unit RN / Bone Marrow Transplant

• Provide comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapies, and blood products safely per oncology/hematology protocols
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias common in progressive care and oncology patients
• Manage central and peripheral lines, implanted ports, and PICC lines with aseptic technique
• Implement infection prevention, neutropenic precautions, and fall prevention strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Float to other MedSurg Oncology units as needed to support staffing
• Utilize EPIC for computerized charting and documentation, following institutional policies
