• Setting: Inpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation (12 beds)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – Travel Nurse, Pediatric RN
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• End Date: July 26, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (8-hour night shifts) — Night Shift RN
• Hours per Week: 32 guaranteed
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with pediatric specialty
• Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience; pediatric rehabilitation experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend (night shift RN availability)
• Successful completion of background checks and health screenings (TB test, MMR, fit test)
• Submission of resume, professional references, and completed skills checklist

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to rehabilitation therapies and care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following pediatric medication safety practices
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (therapists, physicians, case managers) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide family-centered education on care plans, therapies, discharge goals, and community resources
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for pediatric patients and staff; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and timely communication of patient changes
