Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – 13-week travel contract in Hartford, CT (zip 06105): competitive pay and a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED) opportunity for experienced Travel Nurses and Travel RNs.

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180 - $2,290
- Location: Hartford, CT 06105 (Hartford, Connecticut travel nursing opportunity)
- Setting: Emergency Department (ED) — Emergency Room Nurse / ER Nurse role
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
- Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel RN / Travel Nurse position)
Job Requirements
- Active RN license (Emergency Room specialty preferred; must be eligible to practice in Connecticut)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (ED experience required)
- Proven ability to manage ED Holds and high-acuity patients
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Successful completion of facility-specific competency testing and skills checklist
- Physical/Health Statement and respirator evaluation
- Background check and education verification
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Quickly assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ED environment
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, techs) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and uphold patient confidentiality
- Respond effectively to emergencies, rapid changes in patient condition, and high-acuity situations
