• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890
• Location: Jackson, TN (38301) — Tennessee travel nursing opportunity
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Inpatient Cardiac Telemetry, Surgical, and Medical Floor — telemetry nurse role
• Patient Ratios: 5 patients per nurse
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry RN experience (travel RN experience preferred)
• Active Tennessee RN license or Compact RN license accepted
• AHA BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS certification required
• Epic electronic charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on submission profile)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (no flu declinations accepted)
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-surgical, cardiac telemetry, and general medical adult and geriatric patients
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management; respond to rapid response and code teams
• Manage cardiac drips (no titration), administer blood products, and care for central and peripheral lines
• Support care for chest tubes, feeding tubes, and perform ABG interpretation
• Float to other medical-surgical/telemetry units or low-acuity ICU as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and pharmacy
• Document patient care using Epic and maintain isolation precautions and PPE protocols
