- Location: Miami, FL 33133 – Coconut Grove neighborhood (Miami healthcare jobs, Florida cath lab jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel (Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiac Catheterization Technologist)
- Start Date: May 11, 2026
- End Date: August 10, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 5 days per week
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: Required after hours, weekends, and major holidays (every other weekend on-call)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech or Cath Lab Technologist (cardiac catheterization experience required)
- Valid ARRT, CRT, RCIS, or RCES certification
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications preferred
- Ability to function independently in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills for multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience with Phillips and GE imaging equipment and Meditech or Mac Lab documentation systems a plus
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (after-hours, weekends, holidays)
Responsibilities
- Assist with and perform a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures including LHC, RHC, peripheral interventions, structural heart procedures, and EP studies
- Operate and troubleshoot Philips and GE imaging systems; assist in cath lab setup and sterile technique
- Document procedures using Meditech and Mac Lab systems and maintain accurate patient records
- Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:3 and collaborate closely with RNs and CVTs
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, weekends, and major holidays as required
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and radiation safety protocols
- Demonstrate flexibility, clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a busy unit
