• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 – $2,890
• Location: Keene, NH 03431 — Keene healthcare jobs / New Hampshire travel nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing assignment)
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday (Guaranteed 40 hours/week)
• Shifts: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (Day shift: 06:30–17:00)
• On Call: Every 4th weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 in the OR
• Setting: Acute care surgical services with primary focus on orthopedic and trauma surgery

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (required)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Recent first assist experience
• Willingness to be trained in ENT, cataract, and C-section procedures (experience in these areas not required)
• Perioperative (OR) experience and prior work with surgical teams (RNs, CSTs/surgical technologists, surgeons) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an RN First Assist (RNFA) during surgical procedures, supporting perioperative patient safety and outcomes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team including RNs, CSTs (surgical technologists), anesthesiologists, and surgeons
• Care for a diverse patient population across the lifespan — infants to geriatrics — in inpatient and outpatient surgical settings
• Assist with a variety of surgical services, primarily orthopedic and trauma; opportunity to expand skills in ENT, cataract, and C-section surgeries
• Participate in on-call rotation every 4th weekend as part of the perioperative team
